PROBLEM
Convenience stores approximately have
12,000,000 of
transactions per day.
At peak hours a
customer can wait
up to 10 minutes to
pay for their products.
Employees are
having a difficult time
physically (height
issues, vision, pain)
Target Audience
First of all we wanted to know our users, that’s why it was important to do screener questions so we could know more demographic and personal information.
Discovery
OXXO decided to innovate their Sales Point interface. With the goal of making it more appealing, faster and easier to use.
The goals are: Make faster the charging process, decrease the difficulties in the users and make easy the charging process.
Plan it from the start
When we got started we noticed the lack of structure and usability on the software. With that in mind we started focusing on wireframing the structure possibilities.
We gathered that they preferred the information in separate screens and the buttons on the bottom.
Custom elements
Simple and clean. We came up with a set of custom elements for Xpos that give a more life to the experience, while also maintaining a sense of professionalism.
